Why is it so addicting…? Surely we have better things to do, but we still find ourselves playing this game all the time. We keep trying to recruit more members for our team, we keep trying to buy up more and more of the city… buying more weapons to kill others and protect ourselves. I swear I need to find something new to do.

I’m thinking I need to learn how to play my guitar more then I need to worry about how much money I am making on MobWars… but I do have a procrastination problem as you can tell by the date of the last post I made.

Here’s me goal… by the new year my birthday I will have learned how to play something on my guitar rather then just make noise. Sure it’s a lofty goal for someone like myself, but hey, I have to start somewhere. Maybe after that I will work on the weight a bit… maybe not

So, after a long awaited return Basement Tapes is back… Kind of.

Just recently while reworking The Canadian Basement I decided that Basement Tapes had to make a return. So I headed on over to youtube and started creating a channel where I can add all the content that people have come to love over the years and people will find and love in the future. There is not much up yet but like I said, I just started working on it. I am hoping that I can find the old tapes and get them transfered to digital versions so that they can be uploaded. I know you are all dying to see Matt do his sexy strip tease dance for Ashley back in the original Basement. Hell, if I get lucky enough I may even be able to upload the year end video from NDHS (Norwich District High School) circa 1999-2000. If you have any suggestions for future shows or if there is something you would like to see Matt and I do then just pop on over to the channel and let us know… or, you could leave comments here and we will let you know when the project is done and uploaded.

So last night me and a couple of buddies were off to a concert. One was down visiting after being in the USA for 4 months, the other was playing DD (Designated Driver) and just looking to not be stuck at home alone for the night. The band… Bobnoxious the best band coming out of London, Ontario. The Venue… Cherry Bomb Night Club in Ingersoll. We got there a little early, ordered some drinks and then noticed that the opening band was coming on. Never caught their name and was kind of glad that I didn’t. I don’t think that I will ever feel the need to catch one of their shows again, either that or they need to figure out how to run a soundboard better. You could not hear the lyrics at all as the guitars were turned up a little to loud, no I am not old, I would just like to have heard something instead of just seeing the singer (Johnny Sex Toy) move his mouth. After a brief period with no activity we were up to the bar for 4 shots of Tequila, Bobnoxious hits the stage and 2 songs later the shots were theirs. A lot of cheering, beers and shots later the crowd left the bar satisfied. Since this was about the 25th time I have seen this NOXIOUS band live I would have to say the highlight of the night was running into WWE Supestar Robbie McAllister

I’m stuck working on the website. This is not a bad thing, it is actually a good thing. See, the more active I am on it the better it is for the rest of you. Currently I am working on finalizing on the new sections on the Forum including one section devoted to making money online. I know you have all heard stories about how to make millions online and not have to do anything… well I have not found any of those that work yet. I do however know of one that pays a little to do something you do everyday, reading commercial emails. —->SPAM<—– is probably what came to your mind but you are wrong. They actually send you only a couple of emails every once in a while to tell you to check your account, and once you log into your account that is where you receive your emails and read them. This is the first blog on the new site. I am going to try to sit down and write something at least a couple of times a week. Right now I am unfortunately watching my Boston Bruins play in their game seven right now and it is not going to well for them. They are down 3-0, but still have one whole period left. Over the last 2 games the Bruins have scored 4 goals in the 3rd period so I am still holding some hope for them.
